The shackle lift was a cheap way to add a little character to my Xterra. The cost was well worth it.

 UPDATE: Oops.. I noticed those are both “After” pics. for some reason, I can’t find the “Before” pics I took anymore.

My garage door opener had been sitting in the little pocket under the shifter for the longest time. I decided to modify my garage door opener to mount flush in the dash. Here was my solution.

 Cost: $3.53

I just started this blog to cover everything I’ve done to my 2003 Nissan Xterra 2WD XE.

Why do all of this to a 2WD? That was what was available at my time of purchase. I paid $12,500 “drive off” for it at the Landmark dealership.
